Lead Agentic AI Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the complete technical direction and architectural frameworks for impactful GenAI projects.

• Develop and enhance the CI/CD and automated evaluation pipelines for stochastic AI outputs.

• Lead the assessment and prototyping of advanced techniques to inform AI roadmap strategies.

• Implement intricate observability hooks and monitoring approaches to track agent logic.

• Propel the experimentation cycles necessary to achieve ambitious accuracy, latency, and cost objectives.

• Serve as the chief design authority and code reviewer within the team, mentoring engineers and promoting secure-by-design methodologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• 8 to 15 years of substantial engineering experience, ideally in a Tier-1 company.

• Proficiency in Python with a comprehensive understanding of developing and scaling high-quality code.

• Demonstrated experience in creating LLM applications and engaging with RAG frameworks, including hybrid search, vector databases, and ANN algorithms.

• Strong expertise in defining component-level architecture and guiding team practices for agentic workflows.

• In-depth knowledge of implementing automated evaluation pipelines for non-deterministic AI outputs.

• Familiarity with LLM observability and analytics tools such as Datadog or Databricks.

• Solid understanding of Agile delivery and the capability to manage production issues across various time zones.
