This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Engage with extensive and intricate data sets to address a diverse range of complex challenges through various analytical and statistical methods.
• Utilize technical proficiency in quantitative analysis, experimentation, data mining, forecasting, and data presentation to uncover trends and patterns that can guide decision-making.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including Product, Engineering, Finance, Marketing, Operations, Data Science, Advanced Analytics, Data and Analytical Engineering, and Capacity Planning, to deliver actionable insights.
• Design, implement, and evaluate experiments to assess feature impact and support product development. Employ causal methods when standard randomized trials are not feasible.
• Create and develop metrics/dimensions to track product and business performance.
• Develop advanced reporting and analytical tools that enable stakeholders to make informed, data-driven decisions.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders, including senior leadership, in a clear and succinct manner.
• Keep abreast of the latest industry trends and developments in both quantitative and qualitative data analysis methodologies.
• Utilize AI to automate repetitive tasks and enhance stakeholder empowerment.
• Over 6 years of industry experience with a degree (Masters or PhD preferred) in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Data Science, Operations Research).
• Previous experience in an advanced analytics or product data science position.
• Strong business acumen, strategic thinking abilities, and the capacity to perform thorough analysis and make well-informed decisions.
• Outstanding communication skills, adept at engaging with a variety of stakeholders and simplifying complex concepts.
• Proven skills in stakeholder management, with the ability to collaborate and influence across different functions.
• Experience working alongside product teams to drive initiatives and provide expertise in analytics, data science, experimental design, and measurement.
• Background in analyzing A/B experiments and conducting statistical data analysis.
• Proficient in designing and creating metrics, from initial concepts to developing prototypes with data pipelines.
• Strong expertise in at least one programming language (Python or R) and SQL.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted analytics tools (like Claude, ChatGPT, etc.).
• An agile, growth-oriented mindset, demonstrated through a track record of leading projects from ideation to impactful outcomes.
