• Conduct research and prepare filings and petitions (such as notices of intent to sue, complaints, briefs, declarations, and regulatory petitions).
• Write formal comments addressing proposals from federal, state, and local agencies.
• Support the interviewing process for experts.
• Explore and investigate new cases.
• Work collaboratively with coalitions and partners.
• Present advocacy orally before federal, state, and local agencies when opportunities present themselves.
• Attend court arguments and hearings as opportunities arise.
• Aid in the creation of media and educational materials for campaigns as needed.
• Undertake additional project work outside of the program as necessary to adapt to evolving organizational priorities.
• Carry out other job-related tasks as assigned.
• Must be a student entering 2L, 3L, or LLM courses in the Fall of 2026.
• Excellent research and writing abilities.
• Ability to work independently and be self-motivated.
• Preferred familiarity with environmental and administrative law.
• A background in environmental or biological studies or relevant experience is preferred.
• A full-time commitment is preferred.
• 403(b) plan.
• Paid sick days accumulate at a rate of 1 hour for every 30 hours worked.
