This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Develop and sustain robust relationships with regulators, law enforcement agencies, financial authorities, and public institutions throughout Brazil and LATAM.
• Act as a representative for Crystal in industry associations, working groups, and public sector initiatives.
• Track, assess, and report on regulatory changes concerning digital assets, cryptocurrencies, stablecoins, and financial services.
• Offer regulatory insights to internal teams to enhance product positioning and market strategy.
• Collaborate closely with sales executives to generate, identify, and cultivate new pipeline opportunities.
• Aid in opportunity creation and deal progression through regulatory and compliance expertise.
• Assist with RFPs, regulatory questionnaires, and sales materials related to compliance.
• Participate in customer and prospect calls as a regulatory and subject-matter expert.
• Facilitate renewal discussions and account expansion for key clients.
• Maintain ongoing client relationships and provide guidance on crypto-regulatory frameworks and policy development.
• Lead and oversee digital-asset risk and regulatory advisory projects across the region.
• Take ownership of and enhance Crystal’s training programs for government agencies and institutions.
• Create and conduct virtual and onsite training sessions throughout LATAM.
• Perform regulatory and market research, producing both qualitative and quantitative reports.
• Work in collaboration with Product, Business Development, and Marketing to develop content that promotes thought leadership and brand visibility.
• Craft messaging that is tailored to specific industries, personas, and regulatory audiences.
• Contribute to webinars, events, and industry presentations.
• Preferred experience in crypto/blockchain compliance, SaaS, FinTech, or RegTech sectors.
• Strong knowledge of AML, compliance, and financial services regulations.
• Highly preferred experience engaging with regulatory bodies in Brazil; exposure to the LATAM region is a significant advantage.
• Familiarity with financial institutions such as exchanges, fintechs, payment providers, banks, or institutional crypto firms.
• Native or fluent in Brazilian Portuguese; proficiency in English and Spanish is required.
• Exceptional presentation, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Comfortable with public speaking, delivering training, and participating in executive-level discussions.
• Strong skills in relationship-building across both public and private sectors.
• Self-motivated, innovative, proactive, and results-oriented.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting while managing multiple priorities.
• Comfortable supporting commercial goals while maintaining regulatory integrity.
• Availability for full-time work.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
• Regular in-person meetings and events throughout Brazil and Latin America.
• Occasional opportunities for international travel.
