This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Instruct online ELA classes concentrating on Reading & Speaking as well as Reading & Writing skills.
• Develop and deliver well-organized lessons utilizing Think Academy's curriculum resources.
• Actively engage with and oversee a virtual classroom of approximately 10 students.
• Evaluate student assignments, provide prompt feedback, and monitor student progress.
• Maintain professional communication with students and parents regarding educational objectives and performance.
• Participate in ongoing teacher training, curriculum discussions, and professional development initiatives.
• Native-level English speaker with a strong command of American English.
• Preferred experience teaching ELA in U.S. public/private/charter schools, ideally focusing on grades 1–4.
• A bachelor's degree in any field is required; degrees in Education, ELA, or English are preferred.
• Comprehensive understanding of elementary reading instruction, literacy development, and writing assistance.
• Proficient with online teaching technologies and virtual classroom management.
• Passionate, student-focused, and capable of inspiring young learners.
• Non-Teaching Fee: $16-20/hour; This includes class preparation and post-class services such as grading homework, responding to parent messages, and periodically providing feedback.
• Retention Bonus: Teachers can qualify for a student retention bonus, which is a performance-based incentive linked to class retention rates.
• Additional compensation may be available for lesson planning, training, and teacher development activities.
