Language Alignment and Resource Partner – Maori, Freelance AI Trainer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Function independently to carry out linguistic QA and create alignment resources.

• Evaluating, annotating, and testing AI outputs for grammatical correctness, fluidity, and strict adherence to cultural context.

• Serving as a primary quality control check during production to proactively spot and rectify subtle cultural inaccuracies or awkward phrasing in Māori.

• Assessing task quality trends and independently developing educational materials and feedback documentation to enhance alignment between AI task outputs and campaign standards.

• Offering native-level language assessment during project expansion and providing specialized linguistic advice throughout the production process.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven work or educational background in linguistics, education, or other disciplines demanding a keen eye for linguistic detail.

• Previous, concrete experience in human data evaluation or annotation.

• Confirmed Māori language proficiency at the C1 or C2 level.

• The capability to confidently convert raw feedback and quality trends into structured, practical educational resources.

• A thorough approach to language, with the acuity to detect and amend even the most subtle unnatural phrasing in their native language.
