This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.
• Assist the Project Manager in executing project plans, which encompass scope, schedule, staffing, and budget management.
• Track project advancements, evaluate performance, and proactively mitigate risks or delays.
• Oversee land and Right of Way (ROW) tasks, including easements, rights of entry, surface agreements, and associated documentation.
• Keep well-organized project files and ensure adherence to Atwell's quality standards.
• Aid in the management of project finances, covering budgets, invoicing, and performance tracking.
• Act as a central point of coordination among internal teams, subconsultants, and clients.
• Assist in assembling and supporting project teams to ensure alignment and productivity.
• Clearly communicate project updates to stakeholders and leadership.
• Foster a collaborative team atmosphere and mentor junior staff as you advance in the role.
• Support proposal initiatives, presentations, and client follow-up activities.
• Identify opportunities for ongoing or expanded work within existing client relationships.
• Establish and nurture strong relationships with clients and industry partners.
• Continue to enhance technical expertise across land, engineering, and project delivery fields.
• Engage in professional organizations, training, and industry events to broaden your network and knowledge.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, Land Planning, Land Surveying, or a related field.
• Four years of experience in land, engineering, environmental, or project coordination positions (experience in energy/utility is essential).
• Familiarity with land and ROW projects, including easements, property rights, or acquisition support.
• Knowledge of project lifecycle management, incorporating budgeting, scheduling, and team coordination.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and with clients.
• Experience with tools like Deltek Vision or similar project management systems is advantageous.
• Professional certifications (AAPL, SR/WA, PE, RLA, etc.) are beneficial.
