Laboratory Supply Chain Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +45 more states.

📋 Description

• Evaluate reagent and analyzer contracts to identify opportunities for renegotiation and conversion.

• Analyze the potential for consolidating analyzer platforms across six CHSLI hospitals.

• Review contracts for reference laboratories including send-out testing, esoteric testing, and genetics.

• Examine blood bank utilization, product wastage, and crossmatch ratios.

• Perform reviews of the POCT program to identify opportunities for consolidation and vendor standardization.

• Collaborate with Lab Directors, Pathologists, Medical Directors, and Technical Supervisors.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in clinical lab operations, lab supply chain, or lab management.

• At least 3 years of experience in managing lab supply contracts including reagent/analyzer, reference lab, or blood bank.

• Familiarity with the interdependency model of reagents and analyzers.

• Knowledge of CLIA, CAP, and Joint Commission standards as they pertain to supply decisions.

• Ability to communicate effectively with pathologists and lab directors.
