Labor and Employment Attorney

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Engage in LABOR/EMPLOYMENT law throughout all procedural stages;

• Prepare defenses, appeals, and other legal documents essential to litigation (including Ordinary Appeal, Special Appeal (Recurso de Revista), objections to calculations, Opposition to Enforcement (Embargos à Execução), Interlocutory Appeal (Agravo de Petição), Writ of Mandamus (Mandado de Segurança), among others);

• Track case developments and input information into internal/client systems;

• Review hearing schedules, conduct pre-hearing preparation meetings, request documents and supporting materials, facilitate payments, and manage deadlines;

• Represent clients in hearings and present oral arguments;

• Capability to formulate litigation strategies and evaluate information and documents for effective case management;

• Strong ability to analyze judgments and court rulings and draft appeals;

• Proficient in mediation techniques.

⛳️ Requirements

• Preferred postgraduate degree in Labor/Employment Law;

• Essential knowledge of Labor Law, Labor Procedure, and Civil Procedure;

• Experience in both consultative (advisory) roles and extensive labor litigation.
