L2 Cloud Native Support Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.

📋 Description

• Assist in the management and evolution of Kiratech's monitoring systems, including the definition and implementation of automated response systems for monitoring events.

• Provide second-level (L2) technical support for Kiratech clients, participating in troubleshooting activities and incident management within Cloud Native technology environments.

• Suggest and implement optimizations to ensure continuous improvement of customer service.

⛳️ Requirements

• System skills in Linux (preferably with at least one related certification, such as LPIC or RHCE).

• Knowledge of at least one scripting language, particularly Python or Bash.

• A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in troubleshooting and incident management, preferably in a 24x7 operational environment with complex Enterprise clients.

• At least 1 year of experience with containerization tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, or Podman (preferably with at least one related certification, such as CKA).

• Good knowledge of major infrastructure-as-code tools, such as Terraform or Ansible.

• Experience in at least one of the following areas/tools:

• Monitoring tools:

• Icinga, Zabbix, Grafana, or SCOM

• ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana)

• Kafka

• Cyphon

• OpenText Suite (NA, NNMi, OBM, OO, Sitescope)

• *Languages*

• Native Italian speaker

• Good professional proficiency in English.

• *Preferred qualifications include certification or demonstrable experience in:*

• Cloud Provider Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect.

• Kubernetes Certifications: Such as Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD).

• Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools: Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD.

• Monitoring tool certifications: Icinga Certified Professional or Zabbix Certified Specialist/Professional.

• Elastic Certified Observability Engineer.

• Confluent Certified Administrator for Apache Kafka (CCAAK).

• Experience with Dynatrace and/or Splunk.

• Service Management processes (ITIL).
