Kubernetes Platform Engineer – Modern Cloud Projects

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Analyze and implement customer needs within the Kubernetes environment.

• Design and enhance cloud-native platform solutions.

• Facilitate customer and strategy workshops focusing on technical and architectural aspects.

• Provide guidance on architectural decisions and their effects on usability and operations.

• Collaborate closely with internal specialist teams (e.g., Security, DevOps, Infrastructure).

• Assist in implementation and deployment at the customer location or remotely.

• Contribute to the development of long-term customer relationships through technical consulting.

⛳️ Requirements

• Several years of professional experience with Kubernetes and cloud-native platforms.

• Profound knowledge of container technologies and their associated infrastructures.

• Experience in integrating Kubernetes into intricate enterprise environments.

• Familiarity with at least two hyperscalers (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and ideally multiple Kubernetes distributions (e.g., OpenShift, Tanzu, Rancher).

• Technical expertise in networking, CI/CD, infrastructure, and security.

• Capability to clearly articulate technical concepts — including in enterprise-level workshops.

• Strong German language skills (minimum B2) and a passion for teamwork and taking initiative.
