Kotlin/Java Developer – Integration

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Cyprus.

📋 Description

• Creating new payment integration solutions and services;

• Streamlining and automating integration workflows;

• Reviewing documentation from external providers to define epics and tasks;

• Engaging in the design and development of high-load system architectures;

• Enhancing and maintaining existing solutions and services;

• Producing high-quality code that is thoroughly tested;

• Performing code reviews;

• Improving system performance and optimizing database queries;

• Investigating and fixing production issues and bugs;

• Working alongside the QA team to guarantee the quality of delivered products;

• Keeping technical documentation up to date and drafting technical specifications.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of professional development experience with Kotlin (Java is a plus).

• Familiarity with the Spring Framework.

• Experience in developing and integrating payment solutions, including billing, payment gateways, and processors.

• Hands-on experience with integrating external payment providers.

• Background in designing and optimizing relational databases (MySQL).

• Knowledge of NoSQL databases (Redis).

• Practical experience with AI-assisted coding tools (such as Copilot, ChatGPT, Codeium, etc.).

• Ability to critically evaluate AI-generated code.

• Understanding of Event-Driven Architecture principles.

• Strong grasp of fundamental software development and design principles.
