Kotlin/Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Design and create backend services, primarily utilizing Kotlin.

• Develop scalable backend solutions using both Kotlin and Java.

• Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams.

• Participate in architectural and technical decision-making.

• Produce clean, maintainable, and production-ready code.

• Continuously enhance existing systems.

• Gain insights from and exchange knowledge with a highly skilled team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience with recent versions of Kotlin or Java.

• Experience with or a willingness to learn and utilize Kotlin on a daily basis.

• Strong understanding of Spring Boot.

• Capability to write code that supports robust and scalable solutions.

• Familiarity with automated testing and writing testable code.

• Critical thinking ability regarding personal and team solutions.

• Experience in a Scrum or Agile working environment.

• Openness to learn from mistakes.

• Receptiveness to feedback from more experienced colleagues.

• Proactive mindset - suggesting, researching, and identifying solutions to challenges.

• Creativity and attention to detail - consistently seeking opportunities for improvement.

• Proficient in English (both written and spoken).
