This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Assess AI-generated lyrics for quality, creativity, coherence, originality, adherence to prompts, and musical context.

• Spot awkward phrasing, repetitive elements, weak imagery, unnatural language, and stylistic discrepancies.

• Compare AI-generated lyrics with published songs and reference materials.

• Identify significant similarities, recurring phrases, and potentially derivative patterns.

• Evaluate whether Korean lyrics sound natural, idiomatic, culturally appropriate, and authentic.

• Analyze vocabulary, slang, colloquial expressions, regional usage, genres, musical styles, audiences, and performance contexts.

• Consistently apply detailed evaluation guidelines across AI-generated outputs.

• Provide clear ratings along with structured written feedback.

• Identify recurring model weaknesses related to language, creativity, originality, and cultural nuances.

• Offer specialized music and language expertise to enhance generative AI systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Native or near-native proficiency in Korean.

• Strong capability to comprehend detailed written instructions in English.

• Professional background as a songwriter, lyricist, performer, composer, music journalist, or a closely related music professional.

• In-depth knowledge of the Korean music scene.

• Excellent understanding of natural Korean phrasing, slang, idiomatic expressions, and cultural nuances.

• Strong analytical judgment when evaluating lyrical quality and originality.

• Access to headphones or studio monitors suitable for critical listening.

• Broad familiarity with contemporary Korean genres, sub-genres, and artists.

• Ability to work independently and consistently apply detailed evaluation criteria.

• Candidates may be required to complete a Korean bilingual competency assessment during onboarding.

• Formal training in music performance, theory, composition, or songwriting is a plus.

• Credited or published songwriting work is highly regarded.

• Work must be performed without utilizing confidential or proprietary information belonging to any employer, client, institution, or other third parties.
