Korean Interpreter

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• We are looking for skilled and highly motivated Korean Interpreters to become part of our fully remote team.

• This position initially focuses on Over-the-Phone Interpretation (OPI), with a clear opportunity to progress into Video Remote Interpretation (VRI).

• You will be tasked with delivering precise, consecutive interpretation primarily in medical contexts, while also facilitating essential communication in social services and financial areas.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience: A minimum of 6 months to 1 year of professional experience in remote medical interpretation.

• English Proficiency: A minimum fluency of C1 is required. We accept valid certifications from EF SET (4-Skill), TOEFL, or CAE.

• Interpretation Certification: You must successfully pass a terminology and interpreter skills evaluation conducted during the hiring process.

• Core Skills: Complete mastery of medical terminology and customer service language is essential.

• Compliance: You must currently possess, or be willing to obtain, HIPAA and FWA (Fraud, Waste, and Abuse) certifications.

• Background Check: You must be willing to successfully complete a standard background check via email.
