This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Sweden.

📋 Description

• Designer for product development and manufacturing across various phases

• Concept, product, and tool development using Catia V5 and Creo

• Execute project deliveries

• Be responsible for your segment/area/system, including the verification of functional fulfillment

• Collaborate with design, R&D, and manufacturing units

• Ensure that the technical documentation is available at the appropriate level and at the right time

• Guarantee timelines, quality, and costs for systems, subsystems, and components

• Create prototype materials for physical verification

• Conduct virtual verification of 2D and 3D models

• Adhere to standards for specific work areas

• Ensure "best practice" in projects

• Take responsibility for correcting any deviations in projects

⛳️ Requirements

• 1-5 years of experience in product development related to the design of interior and exterior systems, Powertrain, BIW, etc.

• Experience in building models using one or more CAD tools (Catia V5, CREO, Inventor, Solidworks)

• Proficient in drawing techniques and tolerance setting.

• Familiarity with KDP, Teamcenter, Agile methodologies, and the Volvo Management System is advantageous.

• Takes ownership of their deliveries while uplifting the team.

• Solution-oriented approach, systematic, and highly focused on deliveries.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

• Fluent in English and Swedish, both spoken and written.
