This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +3 more states.
• Establish and nurture robust, long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders in customer organizations, including senior-level decision makers and influencers.
• Oversee a designated portfolio of customer accounts, prioritizing customer satisfaction, retention, and revenue enhancement.
• Identify, cultivate, and finalize new sales opportunities within existing accounts.
• Enhance customer spending and profitability through strategic account development and solution-oriented selling.
• Generate demand for products and services by boosting brand visibility and showcasing value to customers.
• Conduct regular business assessments and strategic meetings with customer leadership teams to comprehend operational needs and align appropriate solutions.
• Offer technical sales support and product suggestions that assist customers in improving performance and efficiency.
• Investigate customer challenges, analyze opportunities, and propose recommendations that facilitate business growth.
• Collaborate across various internal teams to ensure effective execution and customer support.
• Uphold pricing integrity, aid margin enhancement initiatives, and contribute to overarching gross profit objectives.
• Background in account management, equipment sales, technical sales, industrial sales, or similar customer-facing positions.
• Demonstrated capacity to forge relationships and influence decision makers across multiple organizational levels.
• Strong consultative selling and problem-solving abilities.
• Capability to independently manage accounts while prioritizing various responsibilities.
• Proficient in analyzing data, recognizing trends, and formulating strategic recommendations.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Technical proficiency with an understanding of products, systems, and customer applications.
• Experience in industrial, manufacturing, equipment, chemical, engineering, or technical sectors is preferred.
