This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Identify and engage consultatively with prospects, targets, and/or existing accounts regarding the diverse packaging solutions offered by Gadge, including our value proposition and service model.
• Create and formalize strategies aimed at expanding business with both existing and new accounts.
• Develop an annual business plan encompassing key strategies to meet or surpass individual sales quotas.
• Capitalize on opportunities that will facilitate a shift in market share from local or national competitors to Gadge through our distinctive services and product offerings.
• Continually acquire and communicate knowledge about packaging products to customers.
• Manage a strong pipeline of qualified leads and opportunities via various channels, proactively growing the customer base through new leads, customer referrals, and outreach efforts.
• Track and maintain the sales pipeline, leads, and new opportunities in Salesforce, providing ongoing reports on progress, win/loss analysis, and strategizing to enhance close rates.
• Successfully conduct packaging audits as necessary to identify process and productivity improvements that will lead to cost-saving initiatives and a value-based sales proposition for the customer.
• Design and present comprehensive customer presentations and Requests for Quotes (RFQs).
• Meet short-term and long-term sales targets and goals established collaboratively with management.
• Develop and foster relationships with existing customers, delivering exceptional service and identifying new opportunities to expand current accounts.
• Act as the primary point of contact for servicing customers' overall requirements; collaborate with Customer Experience to define SLAs, customer needs, etc.
• Provide internal teams with updates and reports reflecting customer needs, challenges, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
• Collaborate and share information with all relevant groups within the organization to achieve successful outcomes, including ensuring the progression of new product development and reducing aged inventories.
• Submit and comply with company requirements for customer documentation and other reporting obligations (e.g., expense accounts, Salesforce, aged inventory, accounts receivable, etc.).
• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• 7 to 10 years of Business-to-Business (B2B) sales experience, preferably within the packaging industry.
• Extensive knowledge of various types of corrugated boxes, paperboard boxes, flexible packaging, and packaging equipment.
• General understanding of manufacturing, warehousing, trucking and logistics, and supply chain fundamentals.
• Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales quotas and expanding the customer base.
• Strong grasp of market dynamics and requirements, or the ability to quickly acquire market and industry knowledge.
• Demonstrated success in expanding a network of customer relationships and existing customer businesses.
• Data analytics skills and financial business acumen to develop insight-driven strategies that support informed decision-making and business growth.
• Experience using Salesforce CRM for reporting and analytics.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
