K-8 Math and ELA Tutor – Weekdays 8am-11am EST

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

• Provide VIRTUAL-only tutoring in ELA and Math for K-8 students throughout the United States, with flexible scheduling and competitive pay compared to other tutoring companies.

• Conduct small group instruction virtually for students in grades K-8 across the nation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in teaching Math and/or ELA within a classroom setting.

• Availability from 8-11 am ET.

• Familiarity with teaching in an online setting.

• Proficient in using Google Classroom and Zoom.

• Bonus points for:

• Experience in remediation, intervention, or small group instruction.

• Background in secondary math.

• Experience in SPED or ELL teaching.

• Being Bi-Lingual.

• Helpful to have experience with AP courses (any APs).

• Commitment to promoting equity in education.

• Active teaching credential required.

• Once assigned to a tutoring engagement, the compensation rate is generally $32.00 per hour of tutoring (on a prorated basis), plus a 10% bonus; this total encompasses the tutoring session, early log-in, and light preparation.

• This rate may vary for engagements where teachers are assigned more or fewer lessons (e.g., $28-36 per instructional hour +10%).
