This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Design authentic K-12 educational scenarios that encompass curriculum creation, instructional planning, special education, student support, assessment, standards alignment, school operations, family engagement, and district decision-making.
• Develop tasks that include lesson creation, differentiated instruction, standards-based teaching, IEPs, 504 plans, accommodations, assessments, school or district policies, budgeting, program implementation, and stakeholder communication.
• Create reference lesson plans, instructional resources, curriculum documentation, analyses for administrators, communications, and genuine evaluation outputs.
• Assess instructional recommendations and AI-generated outputs for quality, practicality, student suitability, standards alignment, completeness, evidence support, and real-world applicability.
• Formulate expert-level rubrics that differentiate professional educational reasoning from generic pedagogical responses.
• Detect subtle reasoning flaws, impractical recommendations, and omissions regarding student or stakeholder considerations.
• Provide well-articulated written justifications that support evaluation decisions.
• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in K-12 teaching, instructional leadership, school administration, curriculum development, special education, or a closely related discipline.
• Experience in a public or private school, district office, or state education setting.
• Direct responsibility for classroom instruction, curriculum programs, IEP or special education caseloads, or school and district initiatives.
• Robust understanding of curriculum development, instructional design, assessment, differentiation, and student support.
• Familiarity with K-12 platforms like PowerSchool, Canvas, Google Classroom, state assessment systems, or MTSS/RTI tools.
• Practical knowledge of school operations, state standards, family engagement, and district-level decision-making.
• Ability to articulate complex educational reasoning clearly and accurately in writing.
• Experience in developing curricula, evaluation rubrics, teacher training materials, or educational documentation is preferred.
• Work must be performed without utilizing any confidential or proprietary information belonging to any employer, student, school, institution, client, or other third party.
• H1-B and STEM OPT support is not available for this position.
• Fully remote.
