Junk Removal Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Execute all tasks in line with the company's standards, practices, and mission statement.

• Safely load, transport, and unload customer belongings following state and local regulations.

• Assist in onboarding and training new employees in subordinate positions.

• Attend all mandatory training sessions, meetings, and events.

• Help ensure the upkeep of trucks and equipment through daily inspections and reporting of any issues identified.

• Foster and uphold a safety culture at The Junkluggers.

• Embrace, implement, and advocate for continuous improvement initiatives.

• Provide operational assistance as necessary, including dispatching tasks.

• Act as the main contact in the field for both management and fellow Luggers.

• Aid in recruiting new team members and promote the company’s values.

⛳️ Requirements

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills are essential, as this is a customer-facing position.

• Ability to quickly learn and utilize technology in the field to meet job requirements efficiently.

• Acquire and master the skills necessary for both Navigator and Driver roles.

• Effectively leverage and manage resource locations in the designated territory (donation, recycling, and disposal centers) for optimal use.

• Strong attention to detail regarding truck operation, maintenance, and care.

• Demonstrate a robust safety mindset and assertiveness in enforcing safety practices and company policies.

• Be confident and proactive in reporting infractions, accidents, or other concerns to management.

• Capable of influencing and leading teams in the field, with potential for advancement.

• Availability to work full-time, including some Saturdays.

• Must obtain and maintain a valid PA C-class driver's license and a satisfactory motor vehicle record.

• Must provide a personal mobile phone (the company will supply tablets for on-the-job tasks).

• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
