This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist the Cost Segregation Tax team in preparing, organizing, and coordinating tax-related deliverables.
• Accurately execute assigned tasks while developing foundational knowledge in tax compliance, cost segregation processes, and 3115 filings.
• Maintain organized workflows and ensure all documentation is complete.
• Contribute to the production of high-quality deliverables.
• Help prepare Form 3115 and related tax documentation.
• Collect, organize, and upload documents provided by clients and CPAs.
• Conduct a basic review of documentation to ensure completeness and accuracy.
• Assist in tracking project statuses and keeping documentation current.
• Identify any missing information and escalate issues as necessary.
• Monitor shared inboxes and respond to or redirect inquiries appropriately.
• Track the status of 3115 projects and support updates in project management systems (Zoho, portal, etc.).
• Assist in scheduling meetings and coordinating communications with clients and internal teams.
• Maintain well-organized project files and ensure proper document storage.
• Generate basic reports and exports from internal systems.
• Assist in tracking which projects are ready for completion versus those pending information.
• Support cleanup initiatives, such as identifying outdated or duplicate projects.
• Help update project statuses and maintain the accuracy of data.
• Provide status updates upon request from clients or internal stakeholders.
• Notify relevant parties when deliverables are finalized.
• Escalate urgent or time-sensitive concerns to senior team members.
• Assist in following up on outstanding requests for information (RFIs).
• Help document processes and identify opportunities for increased efficiency.
• Support special projects and team initiatives as assigned.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including tax, operations, and accounts receivable.

• Ability to accurately follow processes and instructions.
• Strong time management skills with the capacity to meet deadlines.

• Capability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent team collaboration and communication skills.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred; OR 0–2 years of relevant experience in tax, accounting, or administrative/project support; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Basic understanding of accounting or tax concepts preferred.
• Familiarity with tax forms or financial documentation is an advantage.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact at all organizational levels.
