Junior Tax Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with the Team Coordinator on managing projects and ensuring timely delivery.

• Generate Monthly and Quarterly Profit and Loss accounts along with Balance Sheets.

• Conduct reconciliations for Bank and Credit Card accounts.

• Oversee and reconcile Balance Sheet items.

• Assist in preparing Quarterly Individual and Business Tax Planning (training will be provided).

• Draft annual financial statements and work alongside the Tax Manager for the annual Business Tax return preparation.

• Prepare U.S. Business and Personal Tax Returns (training will be provided).

• Handle Monthly and Quarterly Sales Tax Preparation and Submission.

• Prepare Yearly Business Property Tax Returns.

• Manage Payroll Processing, along with Quarterly and Annual Payroll Tax Return Preparation and Submission.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completion of CA Inter with Articleship focusing on Accounting and Taxation.

• Proficiency in working with accounting software packages (such as Tally, QuickBooks, Xero, etc.).

• Strong experience and knowledge in General Ledger work.

• Good aptitude for Individual and Business Tax Preparation, Tax Planning, and Tax Research.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Active listening skills.

• Ability to adapt to team communication styles.

• Proficient in Project and Task Management.

• Familiarity with Google Workspace (including Google Drive, Docs, Sheets, etc.).
