Junior System and Network Administrator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Assist in the expansion of Sparteo's international infrastructure by carrying out system and network administration duties, guaranteeing uptime, security, and reliability across our environments.

• Oversee and maintain server performance to ensure optimal functionality.

• Enforce security protocols and conduct routine system updates and backups.

• Administer the network infrastructure, which includes routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.

• Assess network performance, detect issues, and implement necessary solutions.

• Offer technical support to internal teams, addressing system and network-related challenges.

• Work collaboratively with other departments to align IT resources with business objectives.

• Document IT procedures, configurations, and incidents. Propose and execute enhancements to boost efficiency and security in system and network operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Fundamental knowledge of network management (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and system administration on Linux servers.

• Capability to swiftly and effectively troubleshoot technical problems.

• Attention to detail is crucial for ensuring the reliability and security of systems and networks.

• Ability to collaborate across departments, particularly in assisting non-technical users.

• A proactive approach to learning and evolving in a fast-paced IT environment.

• Proficiency in both French and English (written and spoken) — vital for collaboration with our French headquarters and international teams.

• Residing in the Nord department (59) — essential for prompt on-site responses to infrastructure incidents at our locations.
