Junior Software QA Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist in improving and supporting the quality assurance and testing processes for the deviceWISE product line

• Develop, construct, and sustain enterprise-level automated testing frameworks for web applications, APIs, and service-oriented architectures

• Implement AI-driven testing techniques

• Work in collaboration with software engineering, product management, architecture, and operations teams

• Verify system integrations, data flows, and backward compatibility across different releases

• Perform and evaluate automated as well as selective manual tests focusing on functionality, performance, reliability, and security

• Oversee defect identification, triage, root-cause analysis, and validation of remediation efforts

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in software quality assurance

• In-depth understanding of automated testing frameworks

• Experience in manufacturing operations technology and/or IoT is highly advantageous

• Proficiency in programming languages: Python, C/C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, Go

• DevOps tools: Git, GitHub/GitLab/Azure DevOps, CI/CD, JIRA, Jenkins, Containers (Docker), Kubernetes

• Familiarity with cloud service platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
