Junior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Acquire knowledge of the product codebase, providing assistance to mid-level and senior engineers with less complex tasks.

• Resolve escalated customer support issues that exceed first-line capabilities.

• Enhance technical excellence by creating tests, managing technical debt, and improving code quality.

• Design and maintain backend APIs and microservices for reporting, integrations, and essential workflows.

• Engage in engineering practices such as grooming, task decomposition, estimation, and implementing technical enhancements.

• Clearly document work to ensure maintainability and facilitate knowledge sharing.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 1 year of commercial software engineering experience within a production environment.

• Solid understanding of JavaScript principles with hands-on experience in Node.js or Go.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms, containerization, CI/CD pipelines, observability tools, and debugging in production.

• Eagerness to learn swiftly, welcome feedback, and develop in a fast-paced environment.

• Knowledge of software development best practices, including testing and creating maintainable implementations.

• Collaborative attitude with strong communication skills.

• Upper-Intermediate English proficiency for daily collaboration.
