Junior Software Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Saudi Arabia.

📋 Description

• Develop and manage backend services and APIs with guidance from senior engineers.

• Work in collaboration with Product Owners and Solutions Engineers to transform requirements into functional solutions.

• Produce clean, well-tested, and thoroughly documented code.

• Engage in code reviews and acquire engineering best practices from the team.

• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving production issues in coordination with support and solutions teams.

• Contribute to the growth of Yuno's engineering presence in the Saudi market.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in both Arabic and English.

• Recent graduate (or graduating before the start date) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline, and available for full-time work.

• Strong understanding of at least one modern programming language (e.g., Node.js, Go, Python, Java).

• Familiarity with REST APIs, databases, and core programming principles from academic coursework or projects.

• Desire to learn and develop in a dynamic, early-stage startup environment.

• Involvement in personal projects, hackathons, or contributions to open-source initiatives.

• Internship experience in software development is preferred.

• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) or AI-assisted development tools.

• Interest in payment systems, fintech, or high-volume transactional applications.
