Junior SOC Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Assume responsibility for routine security investigations.

• Conduct hands-on analysis of alerts and correlate evidence.

• Clearly document cases and provide informed recommendations.

• Ensure quality in handoff processes.

• Engage in shift-based live operations, including various shifts and coverage during public holidays.

⛳️ Requirements

• Comfort in performing investigations and alert analysis within a SOC, MDR, or a similar operational security environment.

• Proficiency in collecting, validating, and correlating evidence from multiple data sources.

• Solid understanding of endpoint, identity, email, cloud, and network security principles.

• Familiarity with investigation, monitoring, case-handling, and escalation processes.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Good documentation practices and disciplined judgment in escalation scenarios.

• Willingness and ability to adapt to required shift patterns as per the service model.

• Capability to articulate challenges in detection, workflows, or playbooks and propose practical enhancements.

• Regular engagement with AI tools to boost productivity.
