C2 Ops – Cyber Security

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Identify gaps in the planning, implementation, and execution of USAF Assured PNT.

• Offer recommendations for creating future strategies to enhance resiliency.

• Assist in the development and execution of a unified framework for Multi-GNSS modernization.

• Conduct analyses and integrate across AFLCMC portfolios.

• Investigate current and emerging threat capabilities that may compromise PNT.

• Perform data collection and fact-finding on DoD, USAF, and AFLCMC directives.

• Assess the impact of threats on GPS and navigation systems.

• Aid in the formulation of countermeasure strategies.

• Create integrated roadmaps that address Assured PNT capabilities.

• Examine the interaction and interdependence of CNS/ATM, M-Code, ADS-B Out, tactical data links, and IFF.

• Review and engage in the development of the Assured PNT roadmap.

• Support systems engineering activities related to PNT/NAVWAR tasks.

• Develop Modular Open Systems Approach (MOSA) standards for M-Code modernization.

• Assist in the creation of open architecture frameworks.

• Recommend implementation methods for SOSA, FACE, OMS, and other standards.

• Evaluate compliance and effectiveness of open architecture.

• Contribute to the development of material and non-material solutions to address cyber resiliency gaps.

• Support cyber resiliency initiatives for tactical data link systems.

• Assess cyber vulnerabilities and devise mitigation strategies.

• Assist in the testing and evaluation of cybersecurity solutions.

• Prepare point papers and briefings summarizing fact-finding assessment results.

• Develop documentation for strategic roadmaps.

• Identify recommendations for follow-on tasks.

• Review GPS-based navigation databases and data chain processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Citizenship: Must be a US citizen.

• Clearance: Must possess and maintain a TS/SCI level clearance.

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Years of Experience: 2-5 years of experience in C2 operations and cybersecurity.

• Additional experience: Recognized authority in Assured PNT and cyber resiliency.

• In-depth knowledge of DoD C2 systems and cybersecurity frameworks.

• Experience in navigation warfare and GPS security.

• Familiarity with MOSA, SOSA, FACE, OMS standards.

• Understanding of tactical data links and avionics integration.

• Experience with ADS-B, M-Code, and CNS/ATM systems.

• Strong capabilities in strategic planning and analysis.

• Excellent skills in technical writing and presentations.
