This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver technical services for the development of customized workflows and Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) within SharePoint to address service requests from SharePoint users.

• Diagnose and resolve issues in applications and their components.

• Partner with interdisciplinary teams and clients to identify, design, and implement applications and enhancements that fulfill the requirements of the company, its clients, and end users.

• Establish a design that meets business needs and specifications, including performance and security criteria.

• Investigate, assess, and adopt new technologies to enhance application efficiency, reliability, and user-friendliness.

• Maintain documentation of technical and functional developments and revisions, along with document libraries and site collections.


⛳️ Requirements

• Must be eligible to pass a favorably adjudicated background investigation (BI) conducted by the Office of Personnel Management (OPM).

• Must be a citizen of the United States.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or 4 years of experience in place of formal education.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a SharePoint Developer.

• Proficient in the following development technologies and strategies:

• - Microsoft SharePoint Online Services

• - Microsoft SQL Server Technical Services

• - Microsoft Power Platform (PowerBI, Power Automate, PowerApps)

• Change and Configuration Management.

• Familiarity with site publishing for designers and developers in SharePoint Online.

• Proficient in using Power Automate, Site Templates, and Microsoft best practices for large organizations.

• Experience managing all phases of content lifecycle.

• Skills in authoring, designing, and branding within SharePoint.

• Knowledge of design management.

• Ability to write custom code using PowerShell, .NET server, .NET client, Silverlight, and JavaScript libraries.

• Design and deploy governance sites and auditing capabilities.

• Develop site owner consoles for records management assistance.

• Experience with publishing sites, client object model programming, and the new SharePoint app model.

• Familiarity with .NET client object model for app development.

• Skilled in surveys, account management, and eCommerce support, integrating social features and external data into publishing websites.

• Understanding of page models for publishing websites.

• Knowledge of master pages, page layouts, and other components that shape site structure, content, aesthetics, and behavior.

• Proficiency in client-side rendering controls.

• Experience with JavaScript, CSS, and template display technologies.

• Ability to create published websites optimized for mobile development.

• Familiarity with channel assignment.

• Knowledge of term store and metadata management within SharePoint Online.

• Understanding of records management and sensitive information protection in SharePoint Online.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Proficient in .NET Technologies such as ASP.NET, WtCF, WF, EF, and C#.

• Understanding of database technologies including SQL Server, Dataverse, Oracle, SQL queries, and stored procedures.

• Familiarity with server technologies such as Azure Active Directory, Dataverse, DNS, certificates, and Hyper.

• Understanding of web server deployment related to IIS, AppFabric, and SharePoint Online.

• Ability to work with Business Connectivity Services, master pages, apps, page layouts, user stories, web parts, Microsoft Power Platform, Microsoft Teams, and Azure Active Directory.

• Proficient in SharePoint Online along with O365 / Office 365, SharePoint Object Model (OM), SharePoint Designer, Visio, Visual Studio, PowerShell, .NET, C#, Azure Automation, and HTML5/CSS, with a solid understanding of Object-Oriented Design and Programming.

• Preferred Skills: Certification as Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD), Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS), Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP).
