Junior SEO Strategist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Support the SEO team in using software tools to gather performance data and insights regarding client websites.

• Assist Senior Strategists in creating audits and generating regular performance reports.

• Perform keyword research, identify content opportunities, and execute on-page optimization tasks.

• Utilize knowledge of Google Analytics effectively.

• Formulate and implement strategies to enhance brand visibility within Google’s AI Overviews (AIO) and generative search engines.

• Improve site architecture and content to ensure easy parsing by LLM crawlers, emphasizing semantic density and clear entity relationships.

• AI Performance Tracking: Employ innovative tools and techniques to track brand mentions and citations in generative search results.

• Be a flexible team member capable of handling various projects and collaborating with all teams.

• Maintain a continuous learning attitude towards SEO, applying insights to work while sharing knowledge with internal teams and clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1-2 years or more of experience in a role focused on SEO, ideally within an agency environment.

• A solid understanding of SEO fundamentals.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, a positive demeanor, and the ability to excel in a collaborative and fast-paced atmosphere.

• Familiarity with technical SEO concepts.

• Strong project management and organizational abilities, with the capacity to prioritize and handle multiple projects simultaneously.

• Basic knowledge of Google Suite.

• Intermediate proficiency in HTML, JavaScript, and CSS as they relate to search performance.

• In-depth knowledge and experience with standard and enterprise search tools and platforms (SEMRush, Sistrix, DeepCrawl, Screaming Frog, GTMetrix, etc.).

• Capability to meet scheduled and proposed deadlines.

• Comfort and proficiency with spreadsheet formats (Google Sheets, Excel).

• Skill in creating professional presentations and reports using MS PowerPoint and Google Slides.
