Junior Project Manager

📋 Description

• Take ownership of task breakdown: Transform feature requirements into clear, actionable tasks that developers, data analysts, or other teams can execute effortlessly.

• Manage the backlog: Always maintain a 7-day forward-looking backlog to ensure the team is aware of upcoming tasks.

• Ensure task quality: Each task you create must encompass Why (business rationale), What (specific requirements), Acceptance Criteria (criteria for completion), Definition of Done (technical checklist), and account for corner cases.

• Collaborate with the Project Owner: Convert high-level product strategies into detailed execution plans.

• Keep everything tracked: Ensure that 100% of tasks are recorded in our task management system—no work occurs outside of this system.

• Achieve a quality rate of 90%+: Your tasks should rarely require revisions as they are complete and clear from the outset.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in project coordination, product operations, or task management roles.

• Practical experience with task management tools (Jira, Asana, ClickUp, Linear, or similar).

• Familiarity with AI tools or AI-related product features.

• Demonstrated ability to produce clear, detailed documentation or task descriptions.

• Proven record of working in structured, process-driven settings.

• Exceptional attention to detail—naturally consider edge cases, corner scenarios, and potential pitfalls.

• Strong written communication skills—able to articulate complex requirements clearly and concisely without ambiguity.

• Quick learner—capable of grasping new processes and frameworks in days rather than weeks.

• Structured thinking—enjoy creating systems, frameworks, and establishing order from chaos.

• High energy and strong work ethic—prepared to work intensively, especially during the initial two weeks of onboarding.

• Ownership mindset—proactively identify gaps and solve problems without waiting for direction.
