Junior Product Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Assist in the development and revision of design guides, white papers, and engineering resources.

• Analyze test results and research outcomes under the mentorship of senior engineers to generate design parameters and engineering tables.

• Utilize applicable design standards (CSA O86, NDS, Eurocode 5, AS/NZS) while documenting relevant assumptions and limitations.

• Collaborate with the R&D team to integrate data, work with the Marketing team to enhance visual layout and UX/UI, and liaise with the Technical Service team to address frequently asked industry questions.

• Aid in the creation and upkeep of calculation spreadsheets and digital engineering tools (e.g., CADwork plugins or software applications).

• Recognize discrepancies or uncertainties in current resources and suggest modifications to improve the designer's experience.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, or Timber Engineering (or a related field).

• 0–4 years of relevant engineering experience.

• Engineer-in-Training (EIT), Candidate to the Engineering Profession (CPI), or eligibility for registration.

• Fundamental understanding of design standards such as CSA O86, NDS, Eurocode 5, or comparable standards.

• Strong skills in technical writing and analysis.

• Exceptional organizational abilities and attention to detail.

• Proficiency in English is required.
