Junior Oracle Database Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Greece.

📋 Description

• Develop and uphold SQL and PL/SQL code, which encompasses stored procedures, functions, and triggers.

• Acquire and implement database design principles to tackle real-world application challenges, gaining more independence as you progress.

• Engage in the complete development lifecycle, from gathering requirements and designing to testing and launching.

• Investigate and rectify database issues in partnership with the team.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to convert data requirements into effective database solutions.

• Produce and update technical documentation detailing data flows and processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Informatics, or a related discipline.

• A solid foundational understanding of relational databases and SQL.

• Up to 3 years of practical experience (academic projects, internships, and personal projects are encouraged).

• A strong analytical mindset complemented by a genuine curiosity about data and databases.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Fulfillment of military obligations, if applicable.

• Practical experience with Oracle PL/SQL or Postgres PL/pgSQL (preferred).

• Basic knowledge of Linux and shell scripting (preferred).

• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies (preferred).

• Previous exposure to the telecommunications sector (preferred).
