Junior Oracle Database Administrator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Supervise the performance of databases and manage system alerts.

• Administer accounts, roles, and privileges to ensure secure access.

• Provide support in executing and verifying backups (basic knowledge of RMAN required).

• Assist in the installation, configuration, and patching of Oracle databases.

• Analyze and resolve Level 1 issues, escalating more complex incidents to the senior team.

• Keep procedure manuals and technical documentation of environments up to date.

⛳️ Requirements

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Higher Vocational Training (Advanced Level in ASIR or DAM/DAW), or a similar qualification.

• Knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL languages.

• Theoretical understanding of Oracle Database architecture.

• Familiarity with Linux/Unix operating systems and basic console commands.
