Junior Legal Counsel

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Belgium.

📋 Description

• Provide legal counsel on a diverse array of issues across various markets.

• Draft, assess, and negotiate contracts and agreements while supporting business operations.

• Engage in numerous legal projects concurrently, guaranteeing timely and effective outcomes.

• Collaborate closely with the Legal team and other departments to ensure the successful execution of the EPI Roadmap.

• Innovate and pursue continuous enhancement in legal processes and the overall payments environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2 to 3 years of experience in private practice or in-house legal roles, preferably in an international setting.

• Master's degree in Law from a European institution.

• Proficient in English (minimum C1 level); knowledge of any additional EU language is a plus.

• Strong organizational abilities with a capacity to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.

• Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills, capable of articulating complex legal concepts clearly to non-legal stakeholders.

• Previous experience in a regulated sector such as payments or financial services would be advantageous.
