Junior Lawyer – Asset Unblocking

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Evaluate court rulings and notifications regarding the seizure and freezing of funds.

• Prepare petitions, replies, and requests for unblocking based on legal justification and supporting documents.

• Operate and oversee judicial systems such as Sisbajud, Renajud, Infojud, among others.

• Handle critical deadlines and implement preventive measures to avert financial losses for the company.

• Record and maintain legal systems with information regarding freezes and the actions taken.

• Collaborate with the finance department and other affected areas to coordinate actions and submit necessary documentation.

• Assist in managing managerial reports on freezes and unblocks with thorough analysis of outcomes.

• Engage in reviewing internal procedures aimed at preventing incorrect freezes.

• Attend hearings or deliver technical oral arguments when necessary to facilitate the release of funds.

• Offer recommendations for the continuous enhancement of internal workflows and management of legal-financial risks.

⛳️ Requirements

• Exclusive commitment (no simultaneous employment).

• Active membership in the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB).

• A minimum of 3 (three) years of experience as an attorney specializing in banking law.

• Proactive mindset.

• Strong analytical skills.

• Tenacity and resilience.

• Proficient in using cloud-based platforms and tools.

• Experience in analyzing court decisions, responding to basic freezes, utilizing case management systems, and basic control spreadsheets will be viewed favorably.
