Junior IT Support Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Luxembourg.

📋 Description

• Manage Service Desk calls, oversee incident resolution workflows, and provide effective support to end users;

• Create, oversee, and automate tickets in ServiceNow, demonstrating a strong understanding of workflows and automation possibilities;

• Streamline existing workflows by automating ticket creation and management in ServiceNow, while enhancing the quality of service delivery;

• Conduct reporting activities;

• Process incoming calls utilizing ServiceNow and task management;

• Produce relevant documentation and user manuals.

⛳️ Requirements

• A university degree in IT or a related field, along with a minimum of 2 years of applicable experience in IT;

• Strong experience in IT user support;

• Proficient experience with ServiceNow, including ticket creation, escalation, and resolution;

• Solid experience with Confluence and Jira;

• Background in service delivery activities and reporting;

• Extensive experience in user support documentation, including the development of SOPs and user manuals;

• Experience with backup, restoration, and system administration in Linux/Windows;

• Familiarity with cloud environments and deployments is a plus (preferably AWS);

• Experience in Task Automation and DevOps would be advantageous;

• Excellent command of the English language.
