Junior Interiors Design and Release Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Oversee the engineering, design, development, scheduling, and production launch of interior components and systems.

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to guarantee precise design and development of interior systems.

• Play a role in the ongoing enhancement of the design and release procedures.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience: 1 to 3 years in assessing, validating, and releasing designs for automotive components (Seats).

• Familiarity with complete seat assemblies, trim covers, foams, headrests, and armrests.

• Proficiency with materials such as: foam, cloth, leather, vinyl, PP, ABS, metallic structures, or electronic components.

• Competence in CATIA V5/3DX or NX (for 3D/2D model evaluation).

• Experience with PLM (Teamcenter) for documentation and release management.

• Knowledgeable in Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles.

• Understanding of manufacturing processes (injection molding, thermoforming, plastic welding, etc.).

• Management skills for PBOM, eBOM, DVP&R, and technical sheets.

• Language: Intermediate to advanced English (for technical understanding and communication with international teams).
