This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.
• Monitoring and addressing user management tasks, which include onboarding, offboarding, and access control.
• Provisioning new hosts and ensuring the upkeep of existing production servers across bare metal, public cloud, and private cloud settings.
• Managing DNS records, including domain registrations, renewals, transfers, and decommissioning processes.
• Conducting security tasks, such as firewall configurations and routine operating system updates.
• Overseeing infrastructure monitoring, responding to alerts and incidents, and ensuring minimal service disruptions.
• Handling requests via the Jira ticketing system within established response times.
• Creating new services and integrating them into the current infrastructure as per specifications from development teams.
• Developing and implementing CI/CD pipelines to streamline routine administrative tasks.
• Composing and maintaining comprehensive documentation for services, tasks, and procedures.
• Strong working knowledge of RHEL-based operating systems, including CentOS and AlmaLinux.
• Solid grasp of networking fundamentals.
• Experience with various compute environments, including bare metal servers, virtual machines, and containers.
• Basic understanding of infrastructure and service monitoring.
• Familiarity with Ansible or similar configuration management tools.
• Proficiency in both spoken and written English, with the capability to produce clear and concise documentation.
• Willingness and enthusiasm to learn new concepts rapidly, troubleshoot issues independently, and devise effective solutions.
• Nice to have: Experience with at least one commercial cloud provider, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Familiarity with scripting languages like Bash or Python.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI or Jenkins.
• Knowledge of the Git version control system.
• Familiarity with FreeIPA, LDAP, or Google Workspace administration.
