This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Oversee and manage production infrastructure across development, staging, and production environments.
• Provide support for the deployment, configuration, scaling, and lifecycle management of cloud services.
• Monitor system health, performance, availability, and capacity metrics.
• Execute patching, upgrades, and maintenance tasks.
• Guarantee reliability, uptime, and operational stability of infrastructure.
• Support workloads and cluster operations based on Kubernetes.
• Assist in container orchestration, deployments, scaling, and troubleshooting efforts.
• Uphold operational standards and best practices for containerized infrastructure.
• Collaborate with development teams on application deployments and environment-related issues.
• Create and maintain automation scripts and tooling to enhance operational efficiency.
• Facilitate infrastructure automation and provisioning through Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Aid in CI/CD pipeline integrations and deployment automation processes.
• Contribute to ongoing improvements for scalability and reliability.
• Manage access control, Identity and Access Management (IAM) configurations, and user permissions.
• Support security best practices and compliance regulations.
• Assist in vulnerability remediation and hardening of infrastructure.
• Maintain standards for auditability and operational governance.
• Conduct incident response, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
• Participate in on-call rotations.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams on infrastructure, platform, and application issues.
• Develop and maintain runbooks, documentation, and support procedures.
• Manage backup, restoration, recovery, and maintenance tasks.
• Conduct patching, upgrades, and lifecycle management for MariaDB.
• Monitor availability, performance, and data integrity.
• Troubleshoot connectivity and performance issues in collaboration with application teams.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
• 3–5 years of experience in cloud infrastructure, systems engineering, platform engineering, or infrastructure operations.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environments.
• Proficiency in Kubernetes administration and managing containerized workloads.
• Strong understanding of Linux systems administration and troubleshooting infrastructure issues.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation of deployment workflows.
• Knowledge of cloud networking concepts, including VPCs, DNS, load balancing, and firewalls.
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools.
• Working knowledge of IAM, access control, and best practices in infrastructure security.
• Experience in supporting production systems and managing incidents.
• Familiarity with MariaDB or similar relational database systems.
• Google Cloud certifications such as Associate Cloud Engineer, Professional Cloud Architect, or Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or Cloud Build.
• Knowledge of observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or Splunk.
• Experience with scripting and automation using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Exposure to Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles and operational excellence practices.
• Experience in hybrid cloud or multi-cloud environments.
