IT Infrastructure Engineer – Network

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Accountable for the design, development, and maintenance of corporate networks, servers, storage, telephony, and systems.

• Implement observable, secure, and resilient solutions.

• Provide technical leadership, support, and guidance across various teams and domains.

• Act as an internal escalation point for daily operational activities.

• Plan and execute projects across the infrastructure landscape.

• Lead and engage in infrastructure, systems, and application projects.

• Support device lifecycle management – including vulnerability remediation, firmware upgrades, and decommissioning.

• Mentor junior staff members.

• Manage vendor relationships and interactions for troubleshooting and resolution of hardware, software, and services.

• Assist in defining and implementing the strategy for infrastructure and systems throughout the enterprise.

• Support global operations for remote, manufacturing, and iRhythm office-based workforces.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of hands-on engineering experience with enterprise local and wide area networks, servers, and storage systems.

• Practical experience with Palo Alto, Cisco, or Juniper equipment and software.

• Strong background in deploying and managing firewalls, switches, and wireless infrastructure.

• Extensive knowledge and practical experience with Microsoft Server operating systems and Active Directory.

• Significant experience with cloud computing and storage solutions (AWS and Azure).

• Prior experience in developing disaster recovery and business continuity plans.

• Familiarity with the Microsoft collaboration suite (Office 365 Mail, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive).

• Experience in patch deployment is required.

• Experience with network and systems monitoring is advantageous.

• Familiarity with ITIL practices is a plus.

• Experience with Linux is beneficial.

• A minimum of an AA degree in Information Systems or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• Cisco certification is a plus.

• AWS/Azure certifications are a plus.

• Networking certifications are preferred.
