Junior Full Stack Engineer, Python

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain scalable backend solutions utilizing Python, with a focus on ERPNext/Frappe and distributed system components.

• Implement and manage REST APIs and integrations between ERPNext, partner platforms, and downstream systems.

• Enhance ERPNext/Frappe doctypes, workflows, permissions, and backend logic.

• Construct and maintain event-driven or asynchronous processes to optimize system performance.

• Create and execute unit tests, API tests, and assist with regression and performance testing.

• Leverage modern frontend frameworks (such as React) for UI components and API integrations.

• Optimize solutions for scalability, reliability, and performance.

• Troubleshoot and address issues across all stack layers.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production challenges.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in software development with Python.

• Practical experience with ERPNext/Frappe for creating and customizing business applications.

• Expertise in developing multi-tier applications and designing REST APIs.

• Solid understanding of OOP principles, design patterns, and data structures.

• Familiarity with frontend frameworks like React or Angular.

• Experience working in Linux/Unix environments.

• Practical knowledge of cloud services (preferably AWS).

• Understanding of relational databases and data modeling (MySQL/MariaDB).

• Experience with system integrations and API-driven architectures.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• At least an Upper-Intermediate level of English proficiency.
