This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.
• Reconcile and enhance Finance Operations processes related to payment flows, PSP settlements, seller payouts, seller reporting, and convert them into accounting-ready transaction data.
• Further refine finance reporting based on payment and transaction data—both for internal accounting purposes and to provide sellers with improved visibility over their payouts and financial information.
• Analyze discrepancies among PSP data, platform order data, seller reports, and accounting records, identify root causes, and assist in enhancing the underlying processes.
• Automate repetitive finance tasks and optimize manual workflows utilizing Excel, Looker, Python, AI-assisted workflows, or comparable tools.
• Collaborate with internal teams such as Product, Seller Relations, and Accounting to translate new products and business requirements into scalable finance processes.
• Provide direct support to sellers with finance-related inquiries concerning payouts, reports, transaction data, and reconciliations.
• Document processes and gradually assume greater ownership as you progress in the role.
• You possess a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related discipline.
• You have approximately 2–3 years of professional experience in accounting, audit, finance operations, or a similar finance-related position.
• You exhibit a strong affinity for large datasets, reconciliations, payment flows, and structured financial data.
• You enjoy transforming complex data into clear insights, identifying discrepancies, and creating scalable solutions rather than depending on manual workarounds.
• You demonstrate strong Excel skills and have experience with Looker or similar BI/reporting tools.
• You possess experience with, or a keen motivation to further develop in, Python or similar automation methodologies.
• You are enthusiastic about leveraging automation, AI, and digital tools to enhance finance processes, making them quicker, smarter, and more reliable.
• You have a keen eye for detail, work accurately, and prioritize data quality and consistency.
• You are analytical, practical, and capable of solving problems effectively.
• You enjoy engaging with internal teams and external sellers, particularly when assisting them in comprehending finance-related data and reports.
• You are fluent in English; knowledge of German is an advantage.
