Junior Data Governance Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Develop and oversee data workflows to collect information from various sources such as databases, Excel files, invoices, and ERP exports, ensuring that procurement, supplier, and spending data is accurately entered and validated.

• Aid in the establishment of data governance policies, guaranteeing data accuracy, quality, and compliance with applicable standards and regulations.

• Assist analytics and client success teams by preparing and formatting data for analysis and reporting purposes.

• Conduct regular audits and identify data anomalies for further investigation.

• Ensure proper documentation of data sources and workflows is maintained.

• Collaborate with team members across different time zones to guarantee timely completion of deliverables.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in commerce, business, data analysis, or a related discipline is preferred.

• Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy.

• Basic skills in Microsoft Excel, including sorting, filtering, and using formulas.

• Comfortable managing large datasets and performing repetitive tasks.

• Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate within a remote team environment.

• Self-driven, organized, and eager to learn new skills.

• Familiarity with procurement or financial documents (e.g., POs, invoices, vendor data) is advantageous but not mandatory.

• Internship or previous experience in data entry or operations is beneficial but not essential.

• Basic understanding of Python, SQL, and Big Data technologies is a plus but not required.
