Junior Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Support the Data Engineering team in transitioning from BigQuery to Snowflake.

• Convert and enhance SQL queries across different platforms.

• Conduct thorough end-to-end validation to guarantee data accuracy and the reliability of pipelines.

• Develop and uphold incremental dbt models.

• Work closely with data engineers, analysts, and stakeholders to identify data requirements and provide solutions.

• Engage in code reviews, share insights, and contribute to team best practices.

• Clearly document work to promote maintainability and facilitate knowledge sharing.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 1 year of experience in data engineering.

• Proficiency in Python.

• Strong background in SQL, including the ability to write and debug queries.

• Basic understanding of dbt.

• Familiarity with Snowflake.

• Eagerness to learn and a willingness to embrace new tools.

• A collaborative approach and excellent communication skills.

• Keen attention to detail concerning data quality and validation.

• Effective organizational abilities and capacity to handle tasks in a dynamic environment.

• Upper-Intermediate proficiency in English.
