Junior Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Assist in the automation, development, maintenance, and enhancement of our data pipelines and infrastructure.

• Collaborate closely with senior data engineers to process, cleanse, and transform large datasets, ensuring data integrity and accessibility for analytics and business decision-making.

• Work alongside cross-functional teams to identify data requirements and help enhance data workflows.

• Create and maintain Python scripts and applications for data processing, analysis, and automation.

• Design, develop, and manage Power BI dashboards and reports to provide actionable insights to stakeholders.

• Conduct reviews of data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency.

• Organize and maintain electronic records for the company’s databases.

• Analyze data to uncover trends and identify opportunities for improvement.

• Assist in generating reports and proposals to communicate findings to management.

• Resolve technical issues and deliver IT support to ensure seamless business operations.

• Provide support to the IT management team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong command of the English language (both written and verbal).

• Completed university degree in computer science or an engineering discipline.

• Availability to work full shifts in USA time zones (EST, CST, MST, or PST).

• Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant full-time experience in the private sector within IT or data science, actively utilizing Python and Power BI.

• Professional experience with Python, including familiarity with libraries such as SciPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, etc. (Note: Python coding classes alone do not qualify).

• Must not have faced any disciplinary actions regarding attendance, conduct, or performance in the last 90 days, and must not be nearing such actions.
