Junior Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Switzerland.

📋 Description

• Familiarize yourself with payment and billing data APIs.

• Comprehend the business model and the underlying data.

• Conceptualize data and ETL/ELT pipeline architecture.

• Collect business requirements from relevant teams.

• Create integrations for the Data Warehouse.

• Transform raw data into organized tables.

• Automate processing through Python scripts.

• Design clear dashboards for business teams.

• Conduct data validation tests.

⛳️ Requirements

• Junior level (0–2 years of experience).

• Experience with hands-on data projects (personal, academic, or internships).

• Strong skills in SQL and Python.

• Understanding of data modeling fundamentals: fact/dimension tables and appropriate granularity.

• Familiarity with Git and Unix commands.

• Proficient in AI coding tools (Claude Code preferred).

• Comfortable interacting with business teams (payments, product).

• Fluent in English.

• French language skills are an advantage.
