Junior Consultant – Grants, Financial Control

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Ensure precise financial tracking and compliance for funded projects, aiding clients in the proper execution and justification of public funding.

• Oversee project budgets while conducting financial tracking and cost management.

• Assess budget variances and confirm the eligibility of costs in accordance with funding regulations.

• Prepare and evaluate financial justifications and cost reports for funding organizations.

• Assist in the technical and administrative oversight of ongoing projects.

• Collaborate with clients to gather financial and project-related documentation.

• Guarantee adherence to financial stipulations of grants and subsidies.

• Aid in the development of proposals (budgeting, cost structure, and documentation support).

• Manage multiple projects concurrently in a consulting environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Practical experience in financial monitoring, budgeting, or cost justification for publicly funded projects (grants, subsidies, CDTI, regional funding).

• 1–3 years of experience in financial control, project management, or related roles.

• Degree in Engineering (Industrial/Management), Business Administration, or a similar field.

• Strong comprehension of cost structures, budgeting, and financial reporting.

• Advanced Excel proficiency (budget tracking, cost analysis).

• Fluent in English (C1 minimum).

• Proficiency in Catalan is a significant advantage.

• Detail-oriented, organized, and process-driven mindset.
