This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.
• Identify and qualify prospective customers and businesses in Australia that align with the ECS offerings and growth strategy.
• Lead consultative advisory engagements and develop solution proposals that address customer sustainability, energy, and operational objectives.
• Structure and negotiate As-a-Service contracts with clients in collaboration with legal, finance, and insurance teams.
• Foster and enhance long-term customer relationships as a trusted advisor.
• Assemble and manage Capture Teams for targeted opportunities, outlining action plans and assigning responsibilities to secure orders.
• Assist in Australian go-to-market planning and business development, including customer segmentation, lead generation, and sales enablement.
• Coordinate opportunity development efforts and achieve business growth targets.
• Lead negotiations of legal documents, commercial terms and conditions, and partnership/JV/MOU agreements.
• Work across energy storage solutions, net-zero strategies, investment planning and management, distributed energy resources, energy procurement strategies, and innovative contracting and financing models.
• Collaborate with local and regional operations, internal teams, external partners, and investors in a multicultural environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Energy Systems, Business, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience in consultative commercial roles, business development, or solution selling within the energy, sustainability, or infrastructure sectors.
• Experience in an international business setting.
• Strong knowledge of energy systems, including distributed energy resources (DERs), energy procurement, and electrification strategies.
• Proven ability to structure and negotiate complex commercial agreements such as ESAs or PPAs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a knack for influencing stakeholders and cultivating trusted relationships.
• Proficient in English.
• Strong analytical and financial modeling capabilities, especially in evaluating energy economics and customer value propositions.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across cross-functional and multicultural teams.
• Willingness to travel internationally as required.
